New things.....

After a crazy week of unpacking we are still knee deep in boxes of Christmas Stock.... It is truely scary how quickly Christmas comes around each year, but dont worry, I refuse to put them on the floor until the begining of November! We have been unpacking some other gorgeous things too...
These bird soap dishes are really sweet and always fly out the door............

We finally have more pink roses back in store, fresh and pretty pink roses on mass are always a show stopper, I can imagine these on a hallway table to welcome you home....

This cast iron daschound boot scraper is not only useful as a boot scraper, he'd work equally well as a door stop. Ever popular with dog lovers we just think hes super cute!

We have new birdie teatowels in chacoal (pictured) also green, aqua and latte, they make a lovelly little gift. Also new are the postcode placemats, for that touch of industrial chic, they come as a set of 4 and are cork backed, so could also work well as a serving mat for the middle of your table.

Ok, I know I said I dont release Christmas stock until November, but I can't resist giving you a sneak peak of some of the gorgeous decorations we have rolling in. This has to be the cutest advent calander I've seen to date, you just want to hug him..and you can!

These angel dolls  are actually meant to be a hanging decoration, but we think they make beautiful tree toppers. She'd also make a lovely "babys first christmas" gift. So too would the white timber rocking horse. I have a thing for jingle bell wreaths, so when I saw these small rusty ones, we just had to order them. They also come in silver. The two ornaments hanging in the tree arent so clear in the photo , but they are clear acrylic hanging stars with clear acrylic birds and apples hanging underneath. Delicate and pretty but not as fragile as they look, I predict these will sell out quickly....
Enough teasing, back to the unpacking.....

Today I have been unpacking new stock.

This storage unit would be a versitile and useful piece in any home. With 24 pull out draws there is lots of room for little bits and pieces. Great for a study, craft or sewing room it can be wall mounted or free standing.

Available in 4 gorgeous scents, these soy way candles are locally made and come in handy re-useable jars.

Hand whittled from locally gathered timber, each of these walking sticks has been lovingly hand made. There are two sizes to choose from depending on wether you are looking for a walking/hiking staff or a more traditional walking stick. Designed to be used they also make a statement as decoration.

I have a thing for zebra's so when we saw these hand painted pictures we just had to have them instore. These too are locally made; hand painted onto a cotton & linen fabric then framed behind glass. Aimed at a childs bedroom these unique pieces have been bought for children and adults alike!

Welcome to our very first blog!...... I've wanted to do this for such a long time. Now that it's up and running I'm not sure what to write..... The idea initially was to create a blog so that all our lovely customers both near and far can see what we are up to instore. Of course we'd much rather see you and catch up in person, but we know that a fair few of you dont get into to Victor as often as you'd like, so this way you can get your INTERNO fix from where ever you find yourself logged on. I intend to post regularly with new products and anything else we think you might like to hear about. If you see something on this blog that you would like more info on please contact us. If you'd like to purchase something you've seen please get intouch so that  we can work out how  best to get it to you. So....... formalities and welcome messages aside, here are some recent photos inside the store......

I love this linen ottoman, at just shy of 1meter square, it would make a fabulous coffee table piled with books or perhaps a large oak tray to sit your coffee cup on.

On the bed: a sumptuous linen and black velvet coverlet, (this is queen size but we can get king size too) ontop of which is a dove grey diamond pleat coverlet and matching euro pc's.
We have a small but growing outdoor section (sorry about the reallllly bad pun!)

The pale advocado green finish to the book shelf makes it that bit different... I especially liked the gap in the middle shelves which lends itself perfectly to a lamp or vase of flowers

It's probably a little tricky to distinguish in this photo but we have lots of lovely little gifts under $20.00 like mirrored jewellery boxes and chrome apples and pears (on table) the door  mats and foot stools have been popular too

And of course childrens gifts. The red elephant is hand printed on linen and then framed and is by a local artist.
